This week I’ve been absorbed in a number of ongoing projects.
Editing. Sydney on the Green, my new travel app on sustainable Sydney is in the final stages of preparation. Already have over 160 of the best green food and drink locales, activities and events, and getting ready to launch on iTunes in December. Loving the energy of Phoebe Seo and Alecia Wood in helping me keep it all on track. Keen to know more? Check out sydneyonthegreen.com.au
Fine tuning. It’s been a long time coming (mainly cause I’ve been on the road or drowning in stories for most of the year), but my five-week travel writing course is in the final stages of going live to the world. If you want to join the wait list (yes, there really is one), contact Sydney Writers’ Center, who’ll be running the course. Then I’ll see you in the online classroom one day soon.
Measuring. Everything my body does. Thanks to a nifty gadget on loan from my nutritionist, Joanna McMillan, this armband is going to give me the cold hard facts about how much exercise I’m doing, how my body is metabolising, and a bunch of other things I hope I understand in my quest to shed a few kilos and take on 2012 with renewed oomph and vigour. (Disclaimer/quote from photographer: “That band is squeezing your arm and making it look fat”. Blame the armband, why not?)
Anyone else on a pre-Xmas health kick? Or just think it’s craaaazy to be trying that as the silly season approaches?
