In the press: Are you hooked on technology?

First, a confession. I’ve been known to have a love/hate relationship with technology.  On the ‘love’ side, I write smartphone apps; feel like my iPhone has made me more efficient not less; and am grateful that technology allows me to work from anywhere.

On the other, I find ‘unplugging’ takes continual discipline; social media STILL seems like an ‘extra’ that sucks as much time as I give it; and staying on top of email is a constant battle.

Reckon the world needs rewiring? Applications open for the Centre for Sustainability Leadership

As a 2010 graduate of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership’s seven-month fellowship, thought I’d spread the word that applications are open for this year’s program.

In my humble opinion, the CSL process offers fabulous access to some of the best sustainability minds in the country. It’s also a top way to build an excellent ‘green’ book of contacts (and yes, even meet some very cool folks enroute).
